Josh, the driving force behind Select Fencing, knows the value of hard work and building something that lasts. Starting as a teenager helping his dad and brother with rural and residential fencing, Josh eventually carved his own path, establishing Select Fencing in 2011. Over the years, he’s honed his expertise, becoming one of ModularWalls’® top installers, specialising in premium fencing solutions that blend beauty and functionality.
The business is a family affair. Josh and his wife Teagan are building a legacy for their growing family. With one young son and another on the way, Josh and Teagan are focused on building a business that’s a foundation for their family’s security.
“Our son looks up to his Daddy and always tries to help him out,” says Teagan. “He takes lunch to Daddy and Rod in his Bluey lunch bag, ‘builds’ things with his toy drill, and makes sure that he and Josh have their safety glasses on at home. These little moments have become some of our favourite memories as we grow the business. In a few weeks, we’ll welcome our second little ‘apprentice’, and I hope he loves it as much as his big brother.”
Recently, Select Fencing's commitment to excellence was recognised when they were named the winner of the Fencing Category in the 2024 Australian Trades Small Business Champion Awards. The recognition comes on the heels of Select Fencing being named an Industry Specialist winner in the ‘Top Businesses’ category of the 2023 Australian Fencing Awards.
